While I’ve been loving Hasbro’s Transformers Cyberverse animated series on YouTube, the simplistic tie-in toy line, aimed at younger fans, hasn’t caught my fancy. That could change later that year, when the Cyberverse Transformers get vehicles that turn into awesome add-on armor.

Hasbro has today announced an exciting new addition to the all-conquering Transformers toy range – Transformers BotBots – which are sure to be a big hit with collectors of all ages.

When I first laid eyes on Transformers BotBots figures, I did not get what Hasbro could have possibly been thinking. Sure, Shopkins and Grossery Gang and bling bag figures are all the rage right now, and they needed a product to compete.

These Transformers are much smaller than what you’re used to but still might have a big impact when they release next year. Hasbro knows what it’s doing when teasing the release of a brand new Transformers line. For Transformers BotBots, the company just might have outdone itself.

I’m one of those kids that grew up watching Transformers and, of course, collecting all the sweet, sweet toys. My love for these transforming toys has been passed over to my two little girls, who both have become obsessed with the characters.

Throughout the years, the Transformers series has made a lot of things transform into robots. Cars, airplanes, tape decks, animals, and more have sprouted heads and limbs accompanied by the signature transforming sound. So why not everyday household items, sporting goods, and food? Hasbro’s BotBots Transformers turn everything into ridiculous little robots. Who’s up for a happy meal?

Transformers is a huge franchise, with its roots coming from the toy line. The toys can be complicated to transform, especially if you have the Masterpiece figures like Starscream, Megatron and Soundwave. Soon, Hasbro will be releasing little Transformers toys called Botbots that will be so easy to transform where many people of all ages can figure it out without instructions. These little guys will be disguised as all types of small items like toilet paper, action sports camera, lollipop, fries

The Transformers craze is alive and well with multiple movies being made and the action figures making a comeback. It was no surprise than that Hasbro had to double up on the toy goodness, however, creating a whole new line of action-figures based on household items versus the cool cars seemed somewhat strange.

Pursuing your passion can become a career. That statement applies to about any field, but I’ve not read about it playing out in quite the same way as it did for Miru Shim. The above video shows off her design and construction for a Transformers costume. She made it from cardboard and it does indeed transform from a car into a robot. The intent was to get Hasbro’s attention, and they were impressed.

Boys should play with dolls. Girls should play with action figures. If they’d like to, of course. In recent years, much has been said about gender and toys, but regardless of how play is marketed — it’s adults that continue to push archaic stereotypes upon kids. Play is play, and kids have a natural instinct to nurture and share companionship. It’s a subject I’ve written much about, such as when Mattel launched its “Dads Who Play Barbie” campaign and when PlayMonster took Wonder Crew national.

Fans of the original 1984 ‘Transformers’ series have a good reason to look forward to Cartoon Network’s ‘Transformers: Cyberverse’ as the series is visually inspired by the G1 designs! The show is going to be much like the upcoming live-action ‘Bumblebee‘ in the idea that our favorite hero ends up on Earth with damage that needs to be repaired. In this instance, his memory banks were damaged and the famed Autobot is trying to go through his past to see why he is on another planet.

The international deal includes both linear and digital rights. The series, which airs on Cartoon Network in the U.S., will begin rolling out in EMEA and Latin America later this year. In Transformers: Cyberverse Bumblebee is on a critical mission where lives are at stake. Only, he can’t remember what it is. It’s a good thing his best friend Windblade has found him to help repair his damaged memory chips. With each recovered memory, Bumblebee rediscovers his past adventures on Cybertron before

Just when you thought Furby couldn't get any cuter and smarter, it has. Roughly four years after Furby underwent a modern reinvention to re-emerge with LED eyes and app-connectivity — and a cuddly Furbacca version — Hasbro has announced the Furby Connect, an even more adorable hamster-owl robot.

Rejoice, '90s kids! Today in nostalgic gifts from the toy-making gods, we bring you the Furby Connect, a reboot of that iconic fuzzy alien toy from our childhood. This adorable little guy (or girl) is new and improved, though, with all the high tech bells and whistles you might expect of a digital age Furby. So how does Furby Connect work?

Furby is no longer that lazy-eyed, mumble-mouthed, ball of fur that woke you up in the middle of the night so you'd tickle its doo-dah (which is the Furbish word for tummy —we hope). 2016 Furby is the fuzz ball of the future, complete with LCD screens for eyes and an entire world of WTF behind them. Business Wire also notes this version is called the Furby Connect because of course, kids need toys that Bluetooth with their smartphones and tablets.

Hasbro Studios has granted Turner’s Cartoon Network the rights to air season one of Transformers: Cyberverse in EMEA and LatAm before the end of 2018 on both linear and digital.

The next new Transformers cartoon was announced last August, Transformers Cyberverse. In what is surely coincidence, the new series will star Bumblebee, like the upcoming live-action movie, and will be aimed at 6-11 year olds and will be produced by Hasbro's animation studio. We now know where you can watch the show. Thanks to the Hasbro Second Quarter 2018 Financial Results Conference Call Management Remarks, it was revealed that the show will have a home familiar to recent Transformers cartoo

The Transformers have been reborn again and again since the toys first hit America in 1984, including appearances in several animated series. But if you grew up with the original toys, and were left confused and disappointed when Optimus Prime was turned into a gorilla, the toys from the latest series, Transformers Cyberverse, will definitely appeal to your nostalgic side.
